Rome & Lazio

Rome, the Italian capital is an enticing Business Travel hub thanks to its many historic attractions and venues. These reasons list Rome as one of the most desirable travel destination worldwide: Meeting Industry Planners have many options to discover in order to plan a successful Meeting Event Management.

Roma

Of all Italy's historic cities, it's Rome which perhaps exerts the most compelling fascination. There's arguably more to see here than in any other city in the world. The Eternal City offers a fascinating blend of history, monuments with a sparkling life and the most talkactive taxi drivers in the world. Rome's city centre is divided neatly into distinct blocks. The warren of streets that makes up the "centro storico" occupies the hook of lands on the left bank of the River Tiber. The left bank of the river is oddly distanced from the main hum of this part of the city, home to Vatican and Saint Peter's, and to the south of these, Trastevere, the city centre's liveliest concentration of nightlife. To mention also Tivoli with the famous and worldwide known Roman Villas.

Beyond Rome, the region Lazio has few centres of note and a landscape that varies from gently undulating green hills of its northern sector where the Etruscan sites of Tarquinia and Cerveteri scattered along the southern stretch of coast ( necropolis mainly but the only remains of a civilisation which ruled the area for close on a thousand years) .. and the southern, where thirteen towns make up the Castelli Romani date back to medieval times, since when these hills - the Colli Albani - have served as an escape for the rich and powerful from the summer heat of the city. It's now a wine-growing area and Frascati is the most famous of the Colli Abani wine town.

Terme di Roma

In Rome there are also the SPAS: famous even in the antiquity for their curing powers, the Acque Balbule were among the preferred destinations fro ancient Romans seeking health and relaxation.
